Some people get socks. Some people get beef jerky. Some people get suspiciously homemade cookies packed with enough love to survive international shipping.
You get care packages from his mom.
Why does she have your address? Why does she know your favorite snacks? Why did your box have more stuff in it than her own son’s?
Those sound like questions for your chain of command.
Soft. Comfortable. Absolutely devastating in the mailroom.
Wear it while collecting your package. Wear it while eating the snacks she specifically labeled with your name. Wear it while telling your buddy, “Damn, your mom really knows me.”
Warning: May cause hurt feelings, allegations of favoritism, and one extremely tense FaceTime call home.
Tell her we said thanks for the cookies.
